(APCI) probe is offered as an option.

Atmospheric pressure photoionization
Atmospheric pressure photoionization (APPI) is offered as an option. It uses
photons generated by a krypton-discharge ultra-violet (UV) lamp (∼10.2 eV) to
produce sample ions from vaporized LC eluent.
