Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Open and remove the service access door
on top of the metercase.
3. Remove coin slide mechanism if present
(See page 4-45).
4. Remove two 3/8” self locking hex nuts from
inside the upper opening of the metercase.
These are secured to the welded-on bolts
located in the top two corners of the coin
slide adapter plate.
5. Remove the coin vault. A security key will
be needed.
6. Remove the 3/8” self locking hex nut from
the bottom of the coin slide adapter plate
that was hidden by the coin vault.
7. Remove the funnel by squeezing the plastic
body from front to back and tilting the funnel
to release the locking pegs.

Coin Chute (Coin Slide) Adapter
For washers to be equipped with coin chute money acceptor only.

1.Remove parts from adapter kit parts
bag.
• one plastic coin funnel,
• one painted adapter plate,
• three self-locking nuts.
2.Install adapter plate into top meter
case opening as shown in illustration.
3.Install one self-locking nut on lower
mounting stud through lower meter case
opening. Tighten securely.
4.Reach in through service door and
install two self-locking nuts on upper
mounting studs. Tighten securely. A
socket wrench with extension is
recommended.
5.Slide plastic coin funnel through
service door opening with pegs facing
DOWN.
6.Rotate funnel 90 degrees so that
round opening is toward rear of washer.
7.Slide funnel forward until front foot
pegs engage the two small rectangular
holes on the interior mounting shelf.
8.Push funnel down firmly until pegs
snap in place.
Note: Newer machines will not utilize
right rear peg.
9.Install coin chute, money vault, and
service door lock per individual manufac-
turer's instruction sheet.
