Setting Paper Types and Sizes
Setting Paper Tray
When loading paper in Tray 1, set the paper size and type on the printer console before printing.
This section describes how to set the paper size and type on the printer console.

Setting Paper Sizes
1. On the printer's console, press the System button.
2. Select Tray Settings, and then press the OK button.
3. Select the tray, and then press the OK button.
4. Select Paper Size, and then press the OK button.
5. Select the correct paper type for the paper loaded, and then press the OK button.
Setting Paper Types
Important: Paper type settings must match those of the actual paper loaded in the tray. Otherwise, print-
quality problems can occur.
1. On the printer's console, press the System button to display the System screen.
2. Select Tray Settings, and then press the OK button.
3. Confirm that Tray 1 is selected, and then press the OK button.
4. Select Paper Type, and then press the OK button.
5. Select the correct paper type for the paper loaded, and then press the OK button.
