Use the Default Settings menu to set default behaviors for Copy, Scan, Fax, and Print from USB functions.
Copy Defaults
Use this menu to set default copying behaviors. For details, see Selecting the Default Copy Settings on
page 101.
Specifies Black and White or Color output.
Turns collation On or Off.
Reduces or enlarges the copies.
Specifies the size of the original.
Specifies the type of the original.
Lightens or darkens the output.
Specifies the sharpness of the copies.
Turns Auto Exposure On or Off when copying. Auto Exposure suppresses the
document background of off-white colored paper and show-through when copying
2-sided thin paper.
Adjusts the red levels of your copies.
Adjusts the green levels of your copies.
Adjusts the blue levels of your copies.
Adjusts the gray balance of the copies to neutral gray.
Use to copy two original page images onto one side of a sheet of paper:
Off
Auto (Autoscale)
ID Card Copy
Manual (Manual Scale)
Turns On or Off the copy margins for the top and bottom of the page.
Turns On or Off the copy margins for the left and right of the page.
Turns On or Off the copy margins for the middle of the page. Use to create a gutter
in the middle of the page when you print using the N-up feature.
