Restarting the Printer at the Control Panel
Using Software Resets to restart the printer is faster and wastes fewer consumables than powering the
printer on and off. Restarting the printer can take up to five minutes during which time Xerox
®
CentreWare
®
Internet Services is not available.
1. At the printer control panel, press the Machine Status button, then touch the Tools tab.
2. Touch Troubleshooting.
3. Touch Resets.
4. Touch Software Resets.
5. For Reset Options, select the type of reset that you want.
− All Software
− Network Software
− Copy Software
6. Touch Reset.
