2.3 Positioner Installation

2.3.3.1 Using an Overhead Crane
1. Thread wire ropes through the attached M20 eyebolts on the
headstock and tailstock.
2. Attach the wire ropes to the spreader beam.
3. Make sure the Positioner is in the shipping position and the shipping
lifting bracket is installed.
4. Lift with the Positioner in the posture as shown in Fig. 2-4.

CAUTION
• Check that the eyebolts are securely fastened on Positioner.
• The weight of the Positioner is approximately 2200kg including the
shipping bolts and bracket. Use a wire rope strong enough to
withstand this weight.
• Mount the shipping bolts and bracket before transporting Positioner.
Avoid exerting force on the motors when transporting the Positioner. To
avoid injury, be careful when using transporting equipment.
