3.2 Cable Connection

Positioner
3.2 Cable Connection
There are two cables used to connect the Positioner to the Controller; a
power cable and an encoder cable. Connect these cables to the
Positioner base connectors and the Controller respectively. Refer to
Fig. 3-2 and Fig. 3-3 for connections between the Positioner and the
Controller.
If the Positioner is equipped with a MultiPort Lubricator system a third
cable is included that will also run from the Positioner to the Controller that
supplies power to the valves and low level sensor.
3.2.1 Connection to the Positioner
Before connecting the cables to the Positioner, check the numbers on the
cables and the Positioner base connectors. Connect each cable by
aligning the cable connector with the main key position of the Positioner.
3.2.2 Connection to the Controller
Before connecting the cables to the Controller, check the numbers on the
cables and Controller connectors. Connect each cable aligning the cable
connector to the main key positions of the Controller.
