6.2 Battery Pack Replacement

6.2 Battery Pack Replacement
If a battery alarm occurs in the Controller, replace the battery according to
the following procedure.
1. Locate the battery that needs to be replaced.
2. Remove the battery pack from the motor.
3. Remove the new battery pack into the Encoder Battery Pack
assembly.
4. Install the new battery pack into the Encoder Battery Pack assembly.
5. Install the new battery pack into the motor.

CAUTION
• Do not remove power from the main power supply.
Removing the main power while removing the battery pack in the
Positioner will cause the encoder to lose its memory.
NOTICE
The battery packs are attached to the three motors located in the
swingarm of the Positioner.
