Resetting to factory settings is operable via web user interface at the path

Note
Updating the Phone Configuration
Your system administrator may ask you to update your phone configurations.
Procedure:
1. Navigate to Menu->Advanced (default password: admin) ->Auto Provision.
On the SIP-T42S/T41S/T40G/T40P IP phone, navigate to Menu->Settings->Advanced
Settings (default password: admin)->Auto Provision.
2. Enter the provision information in the corresponding field.
3. Press Save.
A message is displayed on the LCD screen:

Note
Reset of your phone may take a few minutes. Do not power off until the phone has started up
successfully.
Ask your system administrator for the provision information.
