4.3 Cooling System
Diesel Engine

Remove part of engine coolant avoiding big drain.
CAUTION! Wait that coolant is not dangerously
hot.

Dismount water pump topper flange releasing
therm
o
stat.
(e)
Replace thermostat and close water pump
assembly.
CAUTION!
Tightening torque:
(f)
Refill engine coolant from expansion tank.
CAUTION! Securely tighten cooling system filler
cap.
Expansion Tank
Waster is incompressible thus prevent pressure damage engine cooling system is provided of expansion tank allowing vapor
and air to expand here.
Replacement Procedure

Goggles
Gloves
(a)
Switch off and disconnect unit from electrical supplies (Battery and Main).
(b)
Open unit top cover.
(c)
Remove part of engine coolant avoiding big drain.
CAUTION! Wait that coolant is not dangerously
hot.
(d)
Disconnect expansion tank from hoses.
(e)
Replace expansion tank.
(f)
Reconnect coolant hoses.
