3. Tape the swingarm to keep the brake caliper
from damaging the painted surfaces.
4. Safely raise rear tire off the ground using a
motorcycle stand.
5. Remove bolts (x2) securing the rear inner
fender to the rear swingarm. Tool: T25.
Torque: 2 lb-ft (3 Nm).
6. Center bolt secures the rear shock ground
wire eyelet and star washer underneath it.
7. Remove bolt securing the rear inner fender to
the rear swingarm. Tool: T25
8. Remove the rear inner fender.
9. Rotate tucked license plate harness up to gain
access to cable ties.
Note: Neatly tuck harness back in place during
reinstallation process to protect harness from
damage while riding.
