Tank (Disassembly and Reassembly)
NOTICE: Before carrying out any work on the
electrical system, remove the key from the key
switch.
Tools Required (includes tools required for
parent jobs):
• #2 Phillips screwdriver
• T30
Disassemble
1. Remove the tank assembly. See Tank
Removal, page 60.10.
2. Release the plastic cable retainer from the
tank lock latch mechanism.
3. Release the cable end from the tank lock latch
mechanism.
4. Release the lock cable end from the tank
collar cable bracket.
5. Release the cable end from the tank collar
cable retainer.
6. Release the cable end from the tank lock
bracket.
