INSTALLING THE CARBON FILTER
1. Remove the old filter from the air duct
orifice in the place of its mounting.
2. Remove the protective package from
the new filter.
3. Insert the filter into the air duct orifice
in such a way to make the air flow di-
rection correspond to the flow direction
through the filter in accordance with
the arrow on the filter. The entering air
must first pass through the white dust
filtration layer.
4. Check proper sealing of the filter.
5. Secure the filter.
DRAINING CONDENSATE FROM THE
AIR RESERVOIR
Incline the bleeding valve by pulling the
ring.
The valve is located on the bottom part
of the air reservoir.
CHECKING THE AIR SYSTEMS FOR
LEAKS
Fill the air reservoir to the maximum
pressure (730 ± 20 kPa).
With the engine stopped the air pres-
sure must not drop by more than 10
kPa in 10 minutes.
Before driving with a trailer or
semi-trailer perform the check
daily!
If the pressure in the brake sys-
tem drops below 450 ± 30 kPA,
the corresponding indicator on
the dashboard will light up.
