DRIVING OPERATION
E211 X212a G150
GEAR SHIFTING
The tractors are equipped with a four-
speed synchronized gearbox with two-
speed reduction, a three-stage torque
multiplier and reversing.
The four-speed gearbox is controlled with
the shifting lever with buttons for controlling
the torque multiplier and a red button for
disengaging travelling clutches. The for-
ward and reverse motion of the tractor is
selected with the reversing lever located on
the steering column.
REVERSING LEVER
The reversing lever is used to select
the driving direction of the tractor (for-
ward, reverse).
F - Forward drive (24 speeds)
N - Neutral position
R - Reverse drive (24 speeds)
The reversing gearbox offers 24 reverse
speeds that are approximately as fast as
the forward speeds. Therefore, consider
well and select a suitable reverse speed
for the particular character of work.
When the lever is shifted from the
neutral position without the clutch
pedal being depressed, the trac-
tor will start moving (clutch en-
gagement).
SHIFTING OF ROAD AND REDUCED
GEARS SPEEDS
H - Road speeds
N - Neutral position
L - Reduced speeds
Shifting of gears of the main gearbox at
reduced gear speeds is the same as in
the case of road speeds
The shifting lever of road and re-
duced speeds can only be shifted
with the tractor at standstill.
