BLEEDING THE BRAKE SYSTEM OF
THE TRACTOR
Always do the bleeding of the brake sys-
tem of the tractor in the following order:
1. Pressure-air brake system for trailers
2. Foot brakes of rear wheels
3. Brake system of the front driving axle
4. Hydraulic brakes of the trailer
Bleed the pressure-air brake system with
the brake pedals disconnected, for each
wheel separately.
Bleed the brake system of the front driv-
ing axle and the hydraulic brakes of the
trailer with the brake pedals connected.
During the bleeding observe the liquid
level in the equalizing tank to avoid aspi-
ration of air.
After two years you must replace the
brake liquid in the whole brake circuit.
Note:
When bleeding the pressure-air
system for trailers and rear wheel
brakes you must always depress
one pedal (1) by 7.5
+0,5
mm,
measured at the piston rod of the
main brake cylinder, which
amounts to 3
+0,2
mm at the ad-
justment screw (2) and do the
bleeding with the other pedal. To
maintain the proper distance in-
sert between the pedal (1) and
adjustment screw (2) a gauge
with the corresponding thickness,
i.e. 3
+0,2
mm.
