CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE
FOOT AND PARKING BRAKE
Perform the adjustment in this sequence:
1. Foot brake adjustment
2. Parking brake adjustment
No other sequence is possible. Likewise,
it is not possible to adjust the foot or
parking brake only. The adjustment
steps are interrelated.
FOOT BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
Secure the tractor against
movement!
1. Lift the rear wheels of the tractor.
2. Release the nuts (2), nuts (6) and
nuts (8).
3. Release the screw (7).
4. Instruct your assistant to turn the
wheel and at the same time tighten
the screw (7) until the wheel starts to
be braked.
5. Release the screw (7) by 5/6 turn,
check whether the wheel rotates
freely and secure the screw (7) with
the nut (6).
6. The adjustment procedure is the
same at the right as well as left side of
the tractor.
