DRIVING UPHILL
When driving uphill, shift from the
higher to the lower speed in time
to avoid the engine speed drop-
ping below 800 rpm and avoid
such driving that would lead to
stopping of the engine due to
overloading.
DRIVING DOWNHILL
A ride down the slope without a
geared speed is forbidden. If you
go down from a longer slope, the
rule is: the steeper the slope is,
the lower gear should be used.
Shift the lower gear before the
slope, if possible.
Note: The gear with which you easily
overcome the slope is the same gear
with which you go down safely.
Prior to a ride down the slope, use
the blocking of system of auto-
matic shift of multiplier by using
brake pedals. This blocks the
automatic gear change of multi-
plier to higher gear (increasing the
taxing speed), or, turn the control-
ler of multiplier pre-selection off.
