POLICY OF CORRECT USE FOR PROXIMA POWER TRACTORS
USING THE DIFFERENT WAYS TO CONTROL THE ENGINE CLUTCH
1 – with the reverse lever
This way uses the function of automatic acceleration.
Moving the reverse lever to the neutral position deactivates the engine clutch.
Moving the reverse lever to the forward or reverse positions activates the engine clutch and puts the tractor smoothly in motion in
the direction selected with the reverse lever.
The activation speed of the engine clutch and the smoothness of acceleration is controlled by the electronic control
unit, it’s based on the information saved during calibration and cannot be influenced by the driver.
The function of automatic acceleration spares the engine clutches more than controlling the engine clutch with
the clutch pedal, therefore it is recommended to be used for ordinary operation, for acceleration, changing the
gears or changing the direction of motion.
2 – with the red clutch button on the gear lever
This way uses the function of automatic activation of the engine clutch.
Pressing the red clutch button on the gear lever deactivates the engine clutch.
Releasing the red clutch button on the gear lever activates the engine clutch.
The activation speed of the engine clutch is controlled by the electronic control unit, it’s based on the information saved
during calibration and cannot be influenced by the driver.
