USING ADVANCED MATERIAL
Printing with advanced materials requires the purchase of both the advanced material upgrade and the
nozzle upgrade kit. After purchasing the advanced material upgrade, you will receive an 8-digit activation
code that will be required to activate the printer functionality. To print advanced materials, nozzle 2 must
be replaced with the special nozzle designed specifically for advanced materials.
CAUTION: Nozzles designed for standard materials should never be used to print
advanced materials.

Wood
INF
FLEX
NOTE: Refer to the print jet replacement guide when installing the nozzle upgrade kit.
Activation
Select SETUP from the home screen.1.
Select NOZZLE UPGRADE.2.
Go to www.3dsystems.com/shop and purchase the advanced material upgrade and upgrade kit.3.
NOTE: Once you have purchased the upgrade and the nozzle upgrade kit, you will
receive a 8-digit activation code. Note the activation code because it will need to be
entered into the printer to activate your advanced material upgrade.
Once you have purchased the upgrade and the nozzle upgrade kit, select the checkmark to continue.4.
Enter your 8-digit activation code and select the checkmark to continue.5.
