1.6 New features in comparison to preceeding versions
1.6.1 Version 3.0 3.10
Parameter Current factor:
Monitoring of the real Set current when using external current transformers and / or 冑3 (inner delta)
circuitry (4.3.4, 3.2.3, 3.2.4).
The change of parameters via control system and via Control Panel can be blocked locally with the
menu point "Parameter lock"(4.3.4). This is requested for some applications.
Control Panel:
- As long as the Cooling time is running, the Control Panel display shows fl ashing "°C"
- Use of the Control Panel for Current indication:
Menu point Curr does not skip back to Addr after 5 min as other menu points do.
- Better access to the FAULT information via Control Panel:
The sequence in the main menu Monitoring has been changed: Addr, Curr, FAuL,..., (8.1.1).
If the FAULT info on the Control Panel is fl ashing --> from menu point Curr press only once [MENU]
and [Cursor down].

Multi-function inputs (4.3.4)
The Multi-function inputs DI0, DI1 and DI2 offer additional possibilities to survey the motor and the
production process it is used for.
Via the parameters DI0 Multi-function input, DI1 Multi-function input and DI2 Multi-function input the
inputs DI0, DI1 and DI2 can be parameterized as Multi-function inputs.
Remark:
Multi-function input DI2 replaces - keeping the compatibility - the former parameter Fault input (DI2).
Control Panel functions and handling
The Control Panel offers the simplifi ed operation Direct panel control (8.1.3) (if parametrized).
- When switched on, the menu to start and stop the motor appears immediately.
Dedicated buttons allow to start and stop the motor.
- If any fault appears the menu changes immediately to the fault menu.
With the ENTER button the fault is monitored and can be acknowledged.
- For commissioning it is still possible to go to other menu points e.g. Set current as in former ver-
sions.
Direct panel control can be released / blocked via Command telegram of the control station.
The actual motor current can be displayed on the Control Panel also as absolute value.
Select with cursor buttons on the Control Panel (8.1.3).
Control functions Actuator 1 to 4
The Control functions Actuator 1 to 4 allow to control actuators with different confi gurations of limit
and torque switches (7.8.1).

Control function = Actuator 1-4: The Start surveying time is a parameter (Star-delta starting time) can
be extended (4.3.4).
