Software version 4.0
FieldBusPlug / Issue: 02.2008
V 6
NEW
Chapter 1.6~2
1.6.4 Version 3.31 3.4
PTC input:
Terminals T1 and T2 can be used to connect PTC sensors (3.6). PTC protection with warning or trip
function can be activated via parameter 6 (Phase loss protection) (4.3.4).
Earth fault monitoring:
Via parameter 21 (DI2 Multi-function input) (4.3.4) the UMC22 can be confi gured for earth fault monitor-
ing (3.5). For earth fault monitoring an additional earth fault monitor type CEM11-FBP (optional acces-
sorie) has to be connected.
New control function:
Control function Star-delta starter 2 (7.7) can be set via Parameter 12 (Control function = Star-delta
starter 2). In opposite to Star-delta starter 1 the number of operating cycles is the same for all contac-
tors using this control function.
Fault output with fl ashing function:
The fault output can be set into fl ashing mode with parameter 24 (Fault output) (4.3.4).
Advanced diagnosis functions:
External faults at the digital inputs DI0, DI1 and DI2 can be differentiated (via fi eldbus: diagnosis Byte 3
Bits 4-6 / via Control Panel: fault number F022, F023 and F024).
1.6.5 Version 3.4 4.0

For set current below 1A the option was added to loop through the motor wires 2 to 5 times
Extension of the parameter "Current Factor"
New parameter range 2 ... 64000
Added a warning bit to distinguish between trip reasons
Trip reason Fault Byte 1 Bit 7 Warning Byte 3 Bit 7
Thermal Overload 1 0
Phaseloss, Unbalance
11
The warning bit is cleared by resetting the fault
Updated Technical Data:
Phaseloss
Current consumption and energy consumtion
Tripcurves
Int./Ext. switch was removed
Selftest does not reset the thermal memory anymore
