6 Putting into operation TCS-Compact
1 Position the torch with the gas nozzle (2) concentrically to the tool axis (milling cutter axis) over the
cleaning station (3).
2 Approach the clamping position. Make sure that the cylindrical part of the gas nozzle (2) lies evenly
against the clamping prism (1).
6.3 Setting up the compressed air-motor
NOTE
The clamping position in the direction of the milling cutter axis should be in the cylindrical part of the
gas nozzle.
Please observe that the clamping position (5) can vary depending on the gas nozzle type.

NOTE
Before you can set up the compressed air-motor in its final position, the welding torch has to be
positioned in the cleaning station.
