6 Putting into operation TCS-Compact
6.1 Electrical connection
The cleaning station of the welding torch is connected to the power supply via an integrated plug
connection. The necessary control signals also well transmitted via this plug.

NOTE
• Ready-to-use control leads are available in lengths of 5m and 10m (optional).
• For electrical connection check device type NPN resp. PNP.
NOTE
• Before setting up, please check that the suitable gas nozzle seal is mounted. This depends on the gas
nozzle diameter used.
• Inflowing compressed air draws in the anti-spatter fluid and mixes it with the compressed air flow.
Recommendation: The period needed for a sufficient wetting of the gas nozzle / welding torch should
not exceed 2-3 sec.
