9.1 Weekly maintenance
1 Check the condition of the milling cutter.
2 Clean the clamping unit.
3 Cleaning of the injection unit.
4 Dismount the cover of the injection unit (1) and the thrust ring (3) and check the rubber gasket (1).

5 Empty the waste container for wire rests.
9.2 Monthly cleaning
• Clean the storage tank of the injection unit if it is thoroughly soiled.
• We recommend a monthly basic cleaning.
10 Troubleshooting

NOTE
• If the measures described below are not successful, please consult your dealer or the manufacturer.
• Please also consult the operating instructions for the welding components, such as the welding power
source, welding torch system, re-circulating cooling unit, etc.
Fault Cause Solution
Compressed air-motor
does not run
• Compressed air supply / hose connection
interrupted
• Valve does not move
• Check all supply lines leading to the cylinder
and the fittings
• Motor defective; replace
• Replace directional valve Y2
Insufficient cleaning • Milling cutter defective or worn out • Replace milling cutter
Welding torch parts are
damaged
• Wrong equipment parts • Check torch dependent parts (milling cutter,
clamping prism)
• Check immersion depth of torch

• Directional valve Y4 does not switch
• Top up anti-spatter fluid

• Metering quantity incorrectly adjusted • Change setting of throttle screw
