3. Installation
3.1 Installation Warnings
Always make sure that the power switch on the RTCA Analyzer is in the OFF
position, and remove the power cord from the back of the instrument before installing
or relocating the instrument.
Do not operate the instrument in an environment where potentially damaging liquids
or gases are present.
Please do NOT put the RTCA Control Unit and RTCA Analyzer in the incubator!
Connect the RTCA Analyzer to a grounded AC supply line using the supplied cord. is
is not only for safety purposes, but also for better noise performance of the RTCA SP
Instrument. While a stand-alone RTCA SP Instrument can work with a two-pronged AC
power source, but within a complicated electrical environment, it is highly advisable to
use a well-grounded power socket, otherwise there may be a risk of electrical shock, and/
or the performance of the RTCA SP Instrument may be a ected.
A er installing an RTCA SP Station in an incubator, allow at least TWO hours before

for repair, it should be always transported in the packaging provided. It is essential
that you report any suspected damage immediately to your local ACEA representative
and to the shipping agent before accepting the product.

taking proper precautions to avoid injury.
