In this Operator’s Manual symbols are used as a visual signal to highlight important points.
Symbol Heading Description
WARNING This symbol is used to indicate that noncompliance
with instructions or procedures could lead to
physical injury or even death or could cause
damage to the instrument. Consult this Operator’s
Manual.
BIOHAZARD This symbol indicates that certain precautions must
be taken when working with potentially infectious
samples material.
IMPORTANT NOTE Information critical to the success of the procedure
or use of the product.
INFORMATION NOTE Additional information about the current topic or
procedure.
