7. TRANSPORTATION
7.1. PACKAGING
The heat pumps are placed on
pallets and wrapped with suitable
material, which should remain intact
until installation takes place.
7.2. HANDLING AND
TRANSPORTATION
• Use suitable equipment
to handle the machine in
accordance with its weight,
as specifi ed by Directive
2006/42/EC and subsequent
amendments.
• The weight of each individual
machine is given in the following
manual. Avoid uncontrolled
rotations.
• Special care should be taken
during loading; all machines
must be loaded and stowed in
the truck using special spacers,
in order to protect all protruding
parts. When moving the product
manually, the pallet can be used
as a means of transportation.
• The SWP unit has a handle to
facilitate transportation. The
handle is supplied in a separate
package: if necessary, it should
be installed using two M8 screws
and two threaded inserts, as
illustrated in the fi gure below.
7.3. CHECK ON RECEIPT OF
PRODUCT
On receipt of the unit, please check
all the parts to make sure that the
transportation process has not
damaged the goods; the carrier
should be notified of any damage
detected, affixing the reservation
clause to the delivery note and
specifying the type of damage
encountered.
7.4. STORAGE
If a period of prolonged storage is
required, protect the machines from
dust and keep them away from
sources of vibration and heat.
WARNING! : do not tilt the
product beyond 45°C during
transportation. If the unit was tilted
during transportation, run it for
at least an hour after it has been
installed.
The machine cover cannot withstand
great stress and cannot therefore be
used for transportation purposes.
