What to do if my AGI Accessories conveyor belt is erratic and doesn't follow a pattern?
    • V
      Vincent HarrisAug 23, 2025
If the belt is too stiff to train, use a more troughable belt. Alternatively, increase the tension to help the belt conform to the crown of the pulleys. When replacing, opt for a more flexible belt. You can also tilt the troughing idlers forward, but not over 2 degrees. Ensure you correct the loading first, as other causes can then be identified and corrected.

How to fix AGI Accessories conveyor belt running to one side?
    • M
      Matthew FlowersAug 26, 2025
If the idlers immediately preceding the trouble point are not at right angles to the belt direction, it can cause the belt to run to one side. To fix this, square the idlers and advance, in the direction of belt travel, the end of the idler that the belt has shifted.

What causes AGI HI ROLLER Accessories head pulley slippage?
    • R
      Reginald ReynoldsAug 27, 2025
Head pulley slippage can occur due to several start-up issues. These include the belt being frozen down under the return bottom belt, dust and moisture forming a paste that glues the belt to the bottom, material build-up in the tail section, or inadequate belt tension. To address these issues, eliminate moisture and water, inspect the cleaning system, and adjust the belt tension according to the specifications.

The discharge plug switch must also be operational. Remove any build up and determine the cause, check the size of the spouting, and check the spouting angle.
