• Check the supply gas purity.
• Check all trap indicators and dates.
• Check the detector for contamination.
• Check for light leaks at the photomultiplier tube (PMT);
tighten the PMT if it is loose.
• Perform complete inlet maintenance: Replace all consumable
parts and bake out the inlet.
• Perform column maintenance: Bake out contaminants as
needed.
