Maintenance and Troubleshooting Tools
Maintenance Positions
The replacement of certain components, such as the needle or the metering seal,
requires the needle arm, the metering device plunger or the gripper arm to be
moved into specific positions. With the Maintenance Positions function, these
components can be moved into predefined service positions, enabling the easy
and safe access to parts that would not be accessible otherwise.
Sharp needle
Some of the maintenance positions require the removal of the safety
cover, revealing the uncovered needle.
Risk of injury
Do not touch the tip of the needle.
Keep your fingers off the moving needle.
Wear safety goggles when handling an uncovered needle.
