N5230C Analyzer Options Available
Option 1E1, Source Attenuators (Extended Power Range)
This option is included in Options 225, 425, and 525.
This option adds a 60-dB step attenuator in the signal path of each of the measurement ports. These step
attenuators are used to adjust the power level (in 10 db steps) to the device under test (DUT) without
changing the power in the reference path.
Option 897, Built-In Tests for Commercial Calibration
This option enables performance tests that are built into the analyzer that enable you to perform ISO 9001
commercial calibration of your analyzer. Refer to “Service and Support Options” on page 2-10 for a
description of the commercial calibration.
Option 898 Built-In Tests for Standards Compliant Calibration
This option enables performance tests that are built into the analyzer that enable you to perform ISO 17025
and ANSI Z540 standards compliant calibration of your analyzer. Refer to “Service and Support Options” on
page 2-10 for a description of the standards compliant calibrations.
Option F20, 20 GHz Frequency Range
This is a 2-port network analyzer with an upper frequency limit of 20 GHz. This option is included in Options
220 and 225.
Option F40, 40 GHz Frequency Range
This is a 2-port network analyzer with an upper frequency limit of 40 GHz. This option is included in Options
420 and 425.
Option F50, 50 GHz Frequency Range
This is a 2-port network analyzer with an upper frequency limit of 50 GHz. This option is included in Options
520 and 525.
