3 When the login window appears, enter the ID and password.
Choose the language: English.
4 Click Login.
5 You will be prompted to change the account information.
Caution
For improved security, you must change the default admin account once you have logged in. AhnLab
shall not be responsible for any security failures caused by using the default account.
Change the account information at System > Adminstrator > Account.
Your account will be locked out for 60 minutes if you enter the incorrect password 10 times. To unlock
the account, use the unblock_adminuser command in a terminal.
TrusGuard uses a private SSL certificate so a warning message will appear. Ignore the message and
continue. If you add the SSL certificate in System > SSL Certificate, the warning message will no
longer appear.
Administrator session will time out after 10 minutes of inactivity. To change the time, use the
set_webui_timeout command in a terminal.
Step 3: Connect to Network Temporarily for System Settings
While setting the system, you need to update the signatures and V3 engine. Connect TrusGuard to the
Internet temporarily to perform this update.
1 Check the network information for TrusGuard to use.
IP address and network to use while setting the system
Gateway IP address of the network
2 Set the network interface in Network > Interface > Interface.
Set he network interface, and use a UTP cable to connect TrusGuard to the network.
Caution
There is an IP address allotted to each network port. If the network uses a 10.0.0.0/16 address
bandwidth, it may conflict with 10.0.X.254 (X: Ethernet port number) IP address.
Step 4: Set Temporary Gateway
Specify a gateway to use temporarily to update the signatures and V3 engine. You can skip this step is
you are using DHCP/DHCPv6.
