TrusGuard Auth
If you specified the settings to use proxy and user authentication in the firewall policy, the proxy user
must use TrusGuard Auth. TrusGuard Auth is an authentication program to use proxy.
Run TrusGuard Auth
TrusGuard Auth does not need to be installed. Run the program by downloading the executable file
from TrusGuard.
1 If you
attempt to connect outside the network from a network set to use user authentication and
HTTP proxy, you will be redirectly to the page to download TrusGuard Auth executable file.
2 Download the file.
3 Run the file.
4 The TrusGuard Auth icon (
) will appear in the Windows notification area.
Note
If you are not using HTTP proxy, you will not be redirected to the TrusGuard Auth installation page.
Login
When TrusGuard Auth is installed, it waits and automatically runs when user authentication is needed.
Login with Password
1 The authentication window will appear when TrusGuard Auth starts.
• En
ter the ID, and click OK. The password window will appear.
• If you are
getting authenticated via the user authentication server, enter the ID registered in the
user authentication server.
2 En
ter the Password.
• If you
are getting authenticated via the user authentication server, enter the Password
registered in the user authentication server.
3 Click OK.
Your account will be locked out and TrusGuard Auth will be terminated if you enter
the incorrect ID or
password for the number of times you specified. To unlock it, please ask your administrator.
