Network Connection
Install the TrusGuard device and turn it on.
Before installing the device, read the instructions below carefully.
Rack-Mount
TrusGuard’s package includes a 19-inch mount brackets to install the device on standard server
rack/cage. This model also comes with guide rails.
Space
Make sure there is enough space to install TrusGuard on the rack/cage. 1 Unit (1U) or 1 Rack Unit (1RU)
is the standard unit of space needed by the device.

Rules of Rack-Mounting
When installing multiple devices on a rack/cage, you must follow the rules below:
Attach the shelf brackets and guide rails to the rack first.
If installing one device only, install it on the bottom of the rack.
If installing multiple devices, start installing the heaviest one on the bottom and lighter ones on top.
Caution
The device is heavy and it is necessary to use two people to hold and install the device in the rack to
prevent personal injury and damage to the device.
