10. The screens will advance upon completion of each calibration to the next
gas to be calibrated.
11. When all gases have calibrated, the screen displays the Calibration Results
that include
% drift
for gases calibrated as well as recovery time. If the
calibration is successful, a large GREEN check mark will be on the screen. If
it is not, a large RED ‘X’ is displayed.
Perform a Remote Calibration
The functions for remote calibration will only be visible if you have and
RCU and you have congured your sensor for Automatic Calibration
in the Sensor Conguration menu.
Using the Remote Cal Unit (RCU), you can manually accept the gas values
when each gas is stable by pressing the ENTER/MENU key, but the RCU
switches the gases on/o automatically.
1. From the Main Menu screen, press ENTER/MENU to access the Calibra-
tion Menu.
2. Press the Left or Right arrows to locate the Start Calibration menu and
press ENTER/MENU.
3. Navigate to the drop down box, press ENTER/MENU key, and choose
Remote.
4. Press the Right arrow to continue.
5. Select the gas(es) that you want to calibrate.
6. Enter the time for the Recovery Duration in minutes.
7. Press the Right arrow to continue.
This is the Calibration Gas Values screen. If you have already entered
your calibration gas values in the Cal Gas Menu, they will be visible in
the elds. Any changes that you make to these values will be reected
in the Cal Gas Menu as well.
8. When you are satised with your values, press ENTER/MENU to start the
remote calibration. The screen displays the Gas Value, Cal Gas, and Status
(Ready/Wait). To abort the calibration, select the ABORT button and press
ENTER/MENU.
