Important Notice to Users
The AMEVision Display User Interface is suitable for the following locations:
- Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC
- Class I, Zone 22, Group IIB
- Class I, Division 2, Group A, B, C, D
- Class II, Division 2, Group E, F, G
No operator serviceable components inside any components of the AMEVision. Refer
servicing to qualied personnel. Power, input, and output (I/O) wiring must be in
accordance with Class I, Division 2 wiring methods [Article 501-4(b) of the National
Electric Code, NFPA 70] and in accordance with the authority having jurisdiction.
Explosion hazard – Substitution of components may impair suitability for Class I,
Class II, Division 2.
Explosion hazard – When in hazardous locations, turn o power before replac-
ing or wiring modules.
Explosion hazard – Do not disconnect equipment unless power has been
switched o or the area is known to be nonhazardous.
This equipment is suitable for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D,
Class II, Division 2, Group E, F and G or Nonhazardous locations only.
Exposure to some chemicals may declare the sealing properties of materials
used in the following devices: Power Supply Module.
Explosion Hazard. When in hazardous locations, turn o power before removing
or replacing wiring, modules, battery or components unless the area is known to
be free of ignitable concentrations of ammable gases or vapors.
Substitution of the following components may impair suitability for Division 2
power supply.
Battery must be replaced with AMETEK part number 1000-652-VE.
