• Make sure that no Malware/Virus protection is active. If there is Malware or Virus protection on your PC,
it may block you from sending files to your FTP Server on the PC. To prevent this, make sure all Firewall
and/or virus protection is turned o on your PC at least until you are done sending files to the FTP Server.
• Once you have successfully transferred files from your DVNext device to your FTP Server, no further
options will need to be set or changed unless you update or change your DVNext instrument, change your
router, or change your PC. Now, you should be able to export and archive files directly to the FTP Server
via Ethernet by pressing “Archive Now”, “Backup Now”, or “Export Now”. Automatic archiving, backing up,
and exporting over Ethernet should also function as expected.
