The En gi ne speed can be ad jus ted ste pless ly with the con trol le -
ver. At mi ni mum En gi ne speed (I), the dri ve to the ex ci ter is dis -
con nec ted at the cen tri fu gal clutch and the En gi ne id les.
The cen tri fu gal clutch en ga ges when the con trol le ver is mo ved
ap pro xi ma te ly ¼ of its ad just ment travel.

the tra vel di rec ti on

3 Emer gen cy stop con nec ti on

The emer gen cy stop switch ser ves to im me di ate ly halt the ma -
chi ne in emer gen cy si tua tions.
Once the switch knob is pres sed the po wer trans mis si on is in ter -
rup ted and the ma chi ne it self stops though the En gi ne con ti nu es
to run.
Fol lo wing the pres sing of the switch du ring ope ra ti on:
The switch is re lea sed by with dra wing it.
Nor mal ope ra ti on can then be im me di ate ly re su med. (The tra -
vel di rec ti on and speed do not need to be re se lec ted).

ma ge is by rub bing cen tri fu gal clutch.

The En gi ne speed should al ways be well be low or
well abo ve the en ga ging speed of the cen tri fu gal
clutch (ap prox. 1200 rpm).
