3.1 Des crip ti on
Ma chi nes of the APH se ries are re ver si ble vi bra ting pla tes ope ra -
ting on the ba sis of the twin-shaft resp. three-shaft vi brat ion sys -
tem prin ci ple. The Engine drives the exciter on the baseplate via
hydraulic components.
The ex ci ter pro du ces the vi brat ion re qui red for com pac ti on owing
to the in cor po ra ted out-of-ba lan ce weights.
The ma chi ne is gui ded at the tow-bar grip. It is ope ra ted with the
ope ra ting con trols on the tow-bar.
Ma chi nes of the APH se ries are suit ab le for all he avy com pac ti on
work in the fi leds of ci vil En gi nee ring and road con struc ti on.
It can be used to com pact all ground ma ter ials such as sand, gra -
vel, slag, crus hed sto ne, asphalt and com po si te sett paving.
