Check in ta ke ope ning for com bus ti on air (1) and coo ling air in -
ta kes (2) + (3).
•
Re mo ve co ar se ob struc tions such as lea ves, sto nes and
earth.
•
Check that dust out let (4) on the cen tri fu gal dust trap is not
blo cked, and cle an if ne ces sa ry.
7.6 Drai ning off wa ter (Fuel tank)
7.6.1 Checking
The fuel tank must be che cked once a week for ac cu ma la tions of
wa ter in or der to pre vent wa ter from pe ne tra ting into the sen si ti ve
in jec ti on sys tem.
•
Uns crew screw (1) to last turn on the thre ad.
•
Col lect drops which flow out in a clear con tainer.
•
De ter mi ne by vi su al in spec ti on whet her wa ter is drai ning out
(wa ter sett les to the bot tom of the con tai ner).
•
As soon as fuel flows out, clo se the screw again.

fuel.
When wa ter is drained from the wa ter sep a ra tor, a
small amount of fuel is drained as well.
