Anderson Group Self-loading Bale Carrier TSR-3450 – Operator's Manual 61
Table 9– Common Problems
Problem Possible Cause Solution
The loading arm does
not move.
The locking pin is holding
the arm in travel position.
Remove the locking pin.
The hydraulic hoses are
incorrectly hooked-up to
the tractor.
Hook them up correctly (see section 3.2
Hydraulic and Electrical System Hook-up).
There is a problem with
the loading arm’s electric
wires or connectors.
Check the condition of the electric wires
and connectors and replace any damaged
parts.
The control lever wire is
incorrectly connected to
the 12 V socket.
Ensure the red light on the 12 V connector
is lit and reconnect the wire, if necessary.
If the connector is hooked-up, but the light
is not on, check the condition of the
tractor’s electric circuit and repair as
needed.
There is a problem with
the bale carrier’s electric
circuit.
Ensure that an indicator light is lit on the
DIN connectors (located behind the
hydraulic controls unit) when one of the
arm’s control buttons is operated.
If no light is lit, check the condition of the
bale carrier's electric circuit and repair as
needed.
The grabber does not
open enough to grab
the bales or does not
close enough to hold
them firmly.
The grabber width is not
adjusted to the bale
width.
Correct the grabber adjustment (see sec-
tion 4.3 Grabber Width).
The wrist and grabber
controls are reversed.
The hydraulic hoses are
reversed at the loading
arm junction.
Correct the connections.
The bales collide with
the barrier.
The barrier is too high,
the arm is too low, or the
barrier and arm height
are not adjusted to the
bale height.
Correct the barrier or arm height (see sec-
tion 4.7 Barrier Height and section 4.6
Loading Arm Position) or both.
