Problem Possible Cause Solution
Bales collide with the
scissor platforms.
The scissor platforms are
too high, the arm is too
low, or the platform and
arm height are not adjus-
ted to the bale height.
Correct the scissor platform or arm height
(see section 4.5 Scissor Platform Height
and section 4.6 Loading Arm Position) or
both.
The bales arrive too
high above the scissor
platforms.
The scissor platforms are
too low, the loading arm
is too high, or the plat-
form and arm height are
not adjusted to the bale
height.
Correct the scissor platform or arm height
(see section 4.5 Scissor Platform Height
and section 4.6 Loading Arm Position) or
both.
The scissor platforms
do not lift.
It is too cold (the ambi-
ent temperature is too
low).
Wait for the temperature to rise.
Have the accumulator pressure adjusted
by a qualified technician.
The accumulator’s
hydraulic circuit pressure
is too low.
Have the accumulator pressure adjusted
by a qualified technician.
The breather is blocked. Remove the breather, raise the scissor
platforms, and return the breather to its
place. If it is no longer functional, replace
it.
The flow rate valve is
blocked.
Clean the flow rate valve. If it is no longer
functional replace it.
