Problem Possible Cause Solution
The scissor platforms
do not lower.
The bale is not heavy
enough.
Abide by the required minimum bale
weight (250 kg (550 lb)).
The bolts connecting the
link bar rod to the two
scissor platforms are too
tight.
Slightly loosen the four (4) bolts on one of
the scissor platforms so it can move a
little.
It is too hot (the ambient
temperature is too high).
Wait for the temperature to go down.
Have the accumulator pressure adjusted
by a qualified technician.
The accumulator’s
hydraulic circuit pressure
is too high.
Reduce the accumulator’s oil circuit pres-
sure.
Have the accumulator pressure adjusted
by a qualified technician.
The breather is blocked. Remove the breather and clean it; lower
the scissor platforms and re-install the
breather. If the breather is no longer func-
tional, replace it.
The flow rate valve is
blocked.
Clean the flow rate valve. If it is no longer
functional replace it.
