7.9.1 Changing the front lining
Changing Change the wear linings according to the following table:
DANGER
Limbs can be jammed or crushed during installation work.
Wear your personal protective apparel.
Step Activity
1 Remove pump unit according to Section 7.8.1
2 Remove bearing as per Section 7.8.2
3 Remove front lining (135.1) by detaching the hexagon nuts
(
920.3) from the suction branch (153).
4 Remove stud bolts (902.3) from the front lining (135.3).
5 Change wear lining (135.1).
6 Re-assemble in reverse order.
7 The gap between the impeller (230.1) and the front lining
(
135.1) should be 1 +/- 0,3 mm (Fig. 7-8). This is obtained by
adding more seals (551.2) between the suction flange (153)
and the front lining (
135.1)
