4.5 Erection work
General Installation takes place in accordance with the sequence plan defined by
ANDRITZ AG.
Completion of the various steps must be documented in the log of
completion of erection work.
Preservation Those machine components which are not corrosion-resistant should be
protected against corrosion with preserving grease.
The preservative grease does not necessarily have to be removed.
Required
documentation at
installation site
The following supplementary documentation must be available at the
beginning of field installation work:
• Foundation and arrangement drawing
• Assembly drawings for the individual sub-assemblies
• Pipe connection diagram
• Documentation on electrical, measuring and control equipment
• List of components for individual sub-assemblies
• Packing lists for each individual consignment
Space requirement for erection work, operation and maintenance will be
defined together with the ANDRITZ AG representative in charge before
the beginning of field installation work.
Ambient temperature during field installation should not be less than
10-15°C.
WARNING
Disregarding the sequence plan and the installation instructions
may result in hazardous situations causing a danger to life and limb,
as well as machine damage.
The sequence of erection work is important and must be strictly
observed.
The sequence of erection work is shown in step-by-step tables. Individual
activities are numbered in their order of precedence.
