15 Insert baffle plate (504.4) .
16 Insert the first outer ring of the angular contact ball bearing
(
321) and the first anti-friction bearing cage.
17 Place the second anti-friction bearing cage and the second
outer ring on the shaft.
Raise shaft vertically on the coupling side with ring bolt and fit
from above by turning into the bearing housing.
18 Mount bearing cover (360.2) with new O-ring (412.2) and new
radial shaft seal (
421.2) (554.2/920.2/575).
CAUTION:
Set gap between coupling-side bearing cover (360.2) and
bearing housing to 0.1 to 0.2 mm with shim material (
551.1)
so that the outer rings of the anti-friction bearings (fixed
bearings) are secured. (see
Abb. 7-10)
The groove in the bearing cover (360.2) must be at the 3
o'clock or 9 o'clock position. (see
Abb. 7-11)
19 Mount and tighten the splash rings (507.1/507.2).
20 Check shaft by rotating it manually.
21 Fill and lubricate bearing with grease according to Section
8.6.2.
22 Re-install the bearing support in reverse order.
