3-5 Option 44, 45, and/or 65 WCDMA/HSDPA Signal Analyzer Verification
The tests in this section can be used to verify the functionality of the WCDMA/HSDPA Signal Analyzer mode of
the MS272xC Spectrum Master. The tests include:
• “WCDMA Absolute Power Accuracy Verification (Option 44) ”
• “WCDMA Occupied Bandwidth (OBW) Verification (Option 44) ” on page 3-18
• “WCDMA RF Channel Power Accuracy and ACLR Verification (Option 44) ” on page 3-20
• “HSDPA RF Channel Power Accuracy and ACLR Verification (Option 44) ” on page 3-21
• “Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) Verification (Option 45 or Option 65) ” on page 3-22
WCDMA Absolute Power Accuracy Verification (Option 44)
This test verifies the WCDMA absolute power accuracy in WCDMA/HSDPA Signal Analyzer Mode.

• High Power Load, Aeroflex/Weinschel Model M1418
• Coupler (refer to Table 1-3)
• Power Meter, Anritsu Model ML2438A
• Power Sensor, Anritsu Model SC7400 (2)
• Anritsu 34NN50A 50 ohm Adapter (2)
• Anritsu 15NN50-1.5C RF Coaxial Cable
• BNC male to BNC male Coaxial Cable
