available.
ART: The monitor takes ART as the PR source.
SpO2
: The monitor takes SpO
2
as the PR source.
Auto : When the monitor can detect ART signal, the monitor will
automatically take the ART as the PR source. If failing to detect
the ART signal, the monitor will automatically take SpO
2
as the
PR source.
For Masimo module:
Setting Sensitivity mode
You can set sensitivity mode of Masimo SpO
2
module according to use
condition. Select Sensitivityin the SpO
2
setting menu with the options of
Max,NormalorAPOD.
Max: This mode should be used for the sickest patients, where obtaining a
reading is most difficult. The mode is recommended during procedures and
when clinician and patient contact is continuous.
Normal : This mode provides the best combination of sensitivity and
probe-off detection performance. The mode is recommended for the majority
of patients.
APOD: This mode is the least sensitive in picking up a reading on patients
with low perfusion but has the best detection for probe-off conditions. The
mode is useful for patients that are at particular risk of the sensor becoming
detached (pediatric, combative, etc.)
If you restart the monitor, the sensitivity of Masimo SpO2 default as
Normal.
Setting Alarm Delay Period
In the SpO2 setting menu, select Delay Time , and you can select the
delay time in the alarmsas required in the options as
5s
10s
or
15s
,you
can also set toOff.
Setting FastSat mode
The FastSat mode is clinically applicable during procedures when
detecting rapid changes in oxygen saturation is paramount such as induction,
intubation and sleep studies.
SelectFastSatin the SpO2 parameter setting menu, you can selectOn
orOffto enable or disable the FastSat mode.
