You will see that the rig will now have a tendency to roll
to one side or the other while in a horizontal position.
Using the pendulum right and left adjustment dial make
sure that the Pendulum is in the center position of the
carrier and below the post.!

Now use the Left and Right adjustment of the Top
Stage and bring the base of the TRINITY into a
horizontal position with the base of the rig level
side to side and the roll eliminated.!

With the base and the rig in a horizontal position, turn the post 5° to the right and let the Rig
find its way back to the level horizontal position.!
!
Do the same starting from the left side.!
Observe any difference in the speed of the correction from the right to the left. !
!
Using the Left and Right adjustment of the Top Stage and the Left and Right adjustment of the
Pendulum adjust the rig until the 5 rotation
correction from both sides is of equal speed. !
NOTICE!
Try to keep the Pendulum always in a line with the
Center Post. It might be useful to move the Top
Stage too far and to counteract this with the
Pendulum to keep it more centered.!
