To daisy-chain the pull cord with the next module:
1. Prepare the passive room bus wires from the previous
module and the next module. See the previous figure.
2. Insert the wires from the room bus cables into the first
4-pole block connector in the following order: orange/
white (+5V5), orange (IN0), blue (IN1), brown/white
(OUT). See previous figure, item 2.
3. Terminate the remaining wires from the two cables into a
second block connector in the following order: brown,
blue/white, green, green/white. See previous figure,
item 4.
4. Place the first block connector onto the module’s 4-pin
terminal and push down to seat it.
5. Place the second block connector in the backbox. This
connector does not mount on any device.
Terminating an End of Line (EoL)
When the pull cord is the last module on the room bus, it
must be terminated with 10k
ё EoL resistors (not included).
Terminate the light as shown in the figures below.

Mounting the NIPC-W3P Module on a Backplate or
Spacer
The NIPC-W3P module mounts on a backplate (sold
separately) that is attached to a backbox. When no backbox
is available, the module can be mounted to a spacer.
NIPC-W3P Backplate and Spacer
To mount the NIPC-W3P module on a backplate or spacer:
1. Pull the cable through the backplate and connect the
4-pole connector to the module.
2. Latch the two tabs on the inside of the lower edge of the
module's two fasteners on the bottom of the backplate.
3. Press the module over the top two fasteners of the
backplate until the module snaps into place.
Assembling and Attaching the Pull Cord
The pull cord assembly includes the two meter pull cord
and two plastic balls. The first (top) ball is a breakaway ball
that separates when the cord is pulled with excessive force.
